BEG Ingénierie and CUBIC 33 Spain, major corporate real estate players in Europe, announce closer relations.

Less than a year after first getting in touch with each other, BEG Ingénierie and CUBIC 33 Spain have joined forces to create a new organisation, CUBIC BEG. The two companies, who specialise in designing and developing logistical, tertiary, industrial and commercial buildings, plan to broaden their European operations and enjoy the benefits of their combined power.

European expansion

CUBIC 33 has based in Barcelona, Madrid and Lisbon and specialists in building logistics platforms on the Iberian peninsula. BEG Ingénierie has been supporting prestigious companies and franchises with their plans for more than 50 years, both in France and internationally thanks to its presence in 9 countries.

By teaming up to create CUBIC BEG in Spain, the two companies signal their desire to fulfil the requirements of major international operators in the logistics sector, in particular by providing them with cross-border support and the group’s financial guarantees.

BEG Ingénierie has been investing in partnerships for several years as part of efforts to generate new expansion opportunities and to provide its customers with perfect knowledge of regulatory, technical and administrative realities in the sectors and markets concerned. This strategy has enabled us to supports customers in new territories (Ivory Coast and Senegal) and new fields (OpenBox and ATIC).

CUBIC 33 Spain works with major customers such as Goodman, Logicor, Prologis, Exeter, VGP, Bertelsmann, Danone, DHL, Kuehne+Nagel, offering them turnkey solutions. Pairing up with BEG Ingénierie increases the number and size of operations and helps to move towards the automation of logistics buildings. The new organisations, CUBIC BEG, will also open a door for Spanish and Portuguese companies to expand into France and more widely in Europe.

An independent company

CUBIC BEG, which is headed up by Pascal Moratin, is fully independent in managerial terms while enjoying the support of the BEG group. Projects are run by a team of 30 employees.

Cubic 33 was co-founded by Pascal Moratin in 2005. The company specialises in design and developing corporate buildings and operates on the Iberian Peninsula as well as in Mexico and France. In 2010 the two associates decided to split their territories, with Pascal Moratin choosing to concentrate on southern Europe, developing turnkey solutions from his base in Barcelona.

CUBIC has designed and built nearly one million square metres in Europe, Africa and American for major customers such as Goodman, Logicor, Prologis, Exeter, VGP, Bertelsmann, Danone, DHL and Kuehne+Nagel. The company helps customers such as Logicor, Porcelanosa and Chanel to move into new countries and expand operations internationally

It has a turnover of nearly €30m and a 30-strong staff with an array of specialist skills relating to the design and development of logistical, commercial and industrial buildings.
