In Spilamberto, Italy in the neighbourhood of Modena, BEG Ingénierie Italia completed the turnkey construction of the logistics platform for Vailog S.r.l.
The works include a 30,000 sq. m in one piece.
A mezzanine of 15,000 sq. m houses robotization and automation equipment on 10,000 sq. m and offices on 2,000 sq. m.
The building is equipped with photovoltaic panels on the roof, charging stations for electric trucks, and a rainwater collecting system.
The platform is BREEAM Excellent certified.
The design and the execution of the project were carried out in BIM.
The provision of the building was organized ahead of time to enable the installation of the process equipment
350 people were involved in the building of the site, which was completed in a record time of 12 months, including the implementation of the process.
