To meet the development needs of its brand, Caudalie, a French comestics company, specialised in vinotherapy wished a new emblematic site.
For this project, the specifications were demanding, particularly in terms of safety, well-being at work and energy performance, including the use of geothermal energy for heating and air conditioning, photovoltaics, lightweight vehicles charging stations, and a landscaping over 17 hectares.
The new logistics centre occupies 13,000 m², twice as much as before with around thirty loading bays.
The storage capacity of the new building can reach 17,000 pallets, compared to 5,000 in the old site.
It includes a high rise automated storage solution by means of a 30 m high robot stacker, as well as a BtoB and BtoC Europe and Export picking system area
A building is dedicated to offices and R&D laboratories on a surface area of 2,800 m².
It also includes a canteen for 150 people, a part of which can be transformed into a meeting room (theatre) for 150 people and a fitness room
In the future, Caudalie is planning to set up a production plant on this 17- hectare site to meet the brand’s development needs.
