The foundation stone laid for Laboratoire Naturel plant at Borovsk site in Kaluga SEZ

Vladislav Shapsha, Head of the Kaluga Region, took part in the official ceremony of the foundation stone laying for the start of construction of the perfumes and cosmetics production plant of the Swiss company Laboratoire Naturel on September 4 on the territory of the Borovsk site of the special economic zone (SEZ) of Kaluga.

In this project BEG INGENIERIE.RUS acts as a management company performing a set of works such as design and initial permit documentation preparation, tendering for the general contractor selection, support in construction including author supervision and construction supervision.

Vahagn Manukyan, General Director of Laboratoire Naturel, and Lorenz Widmer, Head of Swiss Business Hub Russia, also attended the event. On behalf of BEG INGENIERIE.RUS the ceremony was attended by Andrey Vishnevskiy, Deputy Executive director, and Alexander Kholomonov, Business Development Manager.

According to Alexander Kholomonov, this site is interesting for BEG INGENIERIE.RUS because it provides new opportunities for the company development on the market and opens up a direction of industrial production in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and perfumery products sector which is a new direction for BEG in Russia.

The execution of this project became a challenge for the team, the first experience for BEG INGENIERIE.RUS in Russia in the design of production site with “clean rooms”. Alexander Kholomonov also said that cooperation with the Swiss company in Russia turned out to be very effective for BEG INGENIERIE.RUS.

It’s not by chance that the management of Laboratoire Naturel decided to locate its plant in the Kaluga Region, where favorable environment for investors has been created, particularly by the efforts of the Kaluga SEZ and the Kaluga Region Development Corporation.

For BEG INGENIERIE.RUS the Kaluga Region is a strategically significant region. Projects for the car industry leaders, such as Faurecia and PCMA Rus have been executed since 2012 and are being executed now. The new project – the Laboratoire Naturel plant – is the development of BEG INGENIERIE.RUS expertise in the pharmaceutical and perfumery industry.
